Live jazz for holiday parties & corporate events

The easiest way to make a company party feel like an occasion.

Now booking November and December

A live jazz band changes the feel of a holiday party the moment people walk in. Standard Alchemy plays office parties, client appreciation nights, association dinners, private holiday gatherings and New Year’s Eve across Montrose and the Western Slope.

Weekend dates in December fill first. If you’re planning, send us your date now.

Built for events where people want to talk

Cocktail jazz is background music in the best sense: swing, bossa nova and Great American Songbook standards played at a volume that lets the room connect. When it’s time for toasts or an announcement, we stop on cue.

Want holiday standards in the mix? Ask when you book.

Sized to your room

  • Jazz duo — trumpet and guitar. Small footprint, easy on the room, ideal for ceremonies, dinners and wine bars.
  • Jazz trio — add bass for a fuller sound at a reception or a larger party.
  • Jazz quartet — trumpet, guitar, bass and drums when you want the room to swing.
  • Vocals — instrumental, or with male and/or female vocals, including guest vocalist Polly Kroger.

Music and catering from one call

Our guitarist, Stefan Davenport, also runs Chef Stefan Inc, catering gatherings of 30 or more. For a corporate dinner or holiday party, that means one conversation covers the food, the music and the timing between them.

Where we play

Montrose is home. We regularly play Delta, Olathe, Ridgway and Ouray, Telluride and Grand Junction and Palisade.

Questions

Good to know.

Do you play corporate events and office parties?

Yes. We play company holiday parties, client dinners, association events and private parties, and can work around speeches and award presentations.

Are you available on New Year’s Eve?

Ask early. New Year’s Eve is the first date to go each year.

Can you provide catering too?

Our guitarist runs Chef Stefan Inc, catering gatherings of 30 or more, so you can book music and food together.

How loud is the band?

Cocktail jazz is meant to sit under conversation. A duo is quiet enough for a dinner; a quartet can lift the room when you want people dancing.

Tell us your date.
